The Nairobi City County has spent the equivalent of over 1.2bn Uganda shillings to beautify Nairobi in preparations for US president Barack Obama.

However, the grass intended to impress the most powerful leader in the world may be a let-down to the Nairobi county governor as it is showing signs of sprouting.
