Lightning has killed two men and injured four members of the same family in the Kanungu District.
The deceased have been identified as Edidiya Turyayebwa, 42 and Diyana Kajowa 31 yrs both residents of Kyamukende Parish, Kinaaba sub county Kanungu District.
Elly Maate, the Kigezi region police spokesperson says one Flora Nyinakiiza 40 yrs and her three children namely; Susan Ayebazibwe 16, Friday Akandwanaho,5yrs, and Blessings Kirungi sustained injuries.
The injured are family members of one of the deceased persons Turyayebwa.
The incident happened after they had gone to their garden.
