The lord mayor of Kampala Erias Lukwango has called upon Ugandans to use this Christmas seasons to pray for peace to prevail in the country.

Speaking to KFM, Lukwango says the country has witnessed a lot of political unrest right from the beginning of the year, throughout the elections periods and currently the Kasese Killings.

He notes that most issues have not yet been resolved up to date and it is time for Ugandans to rise up and use this season of togetherness, cry to God to intervene.

He also urged Ugandans to enjoy responsibly putting in mind that there is life ahead of them and asked them to promote peace whenever they will be.
