City Lord Mayor, Erias Lukwago has lost it.

A tribunal investigating a petition by the 17 councilor has found him guilty of incompetence.

The tribunal’s report points to failure by the lord mayor to convene meetings as stipulated by law.

The minister for Kampala Frank Tumwebaza now says a meeting is to be convened in 14 days to discuss the reports and a way forward.

Meanwhile, FDC’s Kiiza Besigye arrives at the IPC offices where he is to address the press alongside other opposition leaders regarding the KCCA tribunal report.

He has been escorted by the police from Kasangati to Katonga Road where the IPC offices are situated under tight security.

The police also remain heavily deployed outside Besigye’s home in Kasangati, along Gayaza Road.
