Makerere University management has been urged to focus its future plans on wealth creation to ensure provision of funds for the various programs it currently runs.

The call has been made by the university Chancellor Prof Mondo Kagonyera while speaking at the ongoing graduation ceremony.

Kagonyera has said that this will also help the institution produce graduates with rich wealth creation minds.

The Makerere University 64th graduation runs until Friday this week.

A total of 12,615 students are expected to graduate with diplomas, bachelors and Masters Degrees as well as PHDs in various disciplines.
