Malaria still a problem in Northern Uganda

Malaria continues to be the major cause of deaths in Northern Uganda.

This is because many people do not consider it serious and do little to prevent it.

Technical advisor on malaria in the northern region, Enisa Mulwana says malaria contributes 60% of both out and inpatient admissions in the regional hospitals and health centers.

According to the ministry of health, about 100,000 of malaria each year.
