Mbarara mayor Warns on garbage
Mbarara municipality Mayor Robert Mugabe Kakyebezi has warned market vendors, traders and the general public to stop mismanaging garbage.
Kakyebezi sounded the warning while addressing a public rally at Kampala-Katete trading center in Nyamitanga Division Mbarara municipality at the official opening of new weekly market named Owino- Katete market on November 18, 2016.
Kakyebezi directed the Assistant Senior Town Clerk Nyamitanga division to be serious with all traders operating alongside that they should be evicted.
The Chairperson Owino-Katete market traders, Deiz Tinako asked the authorities to acquire more surrounding land for expansion.
