David Kugonza | April 29, 2017

Advocates of the minimum wage could soon have a smile, this is after the minister of state of gender Peace Mutuuzo revealed today that the minimum wage advisory board has finished its work.

The minister says the board is expected to submit its report next week.

She is hopeful that soon after; it will be taken to cabinet before it is brought to parliament for approval.

She further challenged workers to embrace and exercise good work ethics if labor productivity is to be realized and also contribution to the country’s national development.

National Labor Day celebrations are to be held in Palisa on Monday next week under the theme β€œBuilding the nation through good work ethics”
