The state minister for primary education Rosemary Sseninde has warned head teachers in Universal Secondary Education schools against collecting fees from students.

Officiating at Senior One selection exercise at UMA Lugogo show grounds, Sseninde said the ministry is well aware about those illegal acts that contravene USE policies, warning that stern action shall be taken against them.

She has warned against collecting application fees from Senior one students.

Sseninde has also appealed to head teachers involved in the selection exercise to ensure that over 500,000 pupils who passed PLE are all fixed in schools.
