The Ministry of Education is today set to announce the Senior One and Senior five selection dates today.

Parents and schools whose candidates sat for the Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) and Uganda Certificate of Examination (UCE) have waited for nearly three months without any news on the dates for the selection exercise.

Sources at the Ministry of Education last week told KFM that the selection exercise would be conducted this week if the minister approved the dates.

Since then, the ministry officials have been holding various meetings to decide on the selection dates with the last one held yesterday.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Education, Dr Denis Mugimba told KFM in an interview last evening that the outcomes of yesterday’s meeting will be communicated today to the Uganda Media Center at midday with approved selection dates.
