Kitgum district Woman MP Beatrice Anywar is nursing serious injuries following an early morning road accident.

Anywar is currently admitted at Case Clinic, where she is being treated.

Speaking to KFM, Anywar says she is feeling a lot of pain in her chest and has bruises all over her body.

She says she lost control and plunged into a pot hole at Kakungulu, along Entebbe road, from where the car over turned.

At the time of the accident, Beatrice Anywar was with her 6-year old son Bernadict Natazi in the car who sustained injuries on the head and arm.

Anywar is still admitted at Case Clinic awaiting results from the scans and x-rays conducted, to establish the extent of her injuries.
