Police in Mukono has arrested a father for allegedly defiling and impregnating his 14 year old own daughter.

Robert Ssempijja a traditional healer and a resident of Mpatta in Mpatta Sub-county was found aiding the daughter to abort in his shrine.

He has then rushed to Mukono police to report the matter saying residents had wanted to lynch him adding it’s his son Lawrence Kibirige a 13 year old responsible for the pregnancy.

The victim her name withheld is a primary seven pupil at a certain school in Mpatta. OC CIID Mukono police station Henry Ayebare has confirmed the incident calling for NGOs to come in and help the little girl who is pregnant and now traumatized.

He has informed us that the father Robert Ssempijja and his son Lawrence Kibirige are in their custody. Case Ref. CRB288/2016.
