Mps speak give expectations of new EC
The new electoral commission must be totally independent of the executive.
This comes from Buyaga west County Mp Bernabas Tinkasimire a day after the commission led by eng Badru Kiggundu’s term expired.
Speaking to Kfm Tinkasimire said Uganda have been deprived of an independent commission able to deliver free and fair elections and it is what is required of the new team.
He however calls for better facilitation of the new commission if it is to deliver as expected
