MUK student collapses and ides at the main gate
A student of Makerere University has collapsed and died near the main gate.
The head of security at the university Jackson Muchuguzi, has identified the deceased as Jonathan Rwothongeyo, a law student, who was among the next batch of students expected to graduate in January next year.
According to Muchunguzi, the deceased was found unconscious at the main gate by police officers who were on guard duty.
He was then taken to Mulago hospital where he died moments later.
He says an autopsy is being carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
