Museveni to address Parliament this Thursday

President Yoweri Museveni will address parliament and the nation at large this Thursday.

The Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga made the announcement while opening this afternoon‘s session.

The Speaker told Parliament that she has received communication from the President about the intended address although she declined to divulge details of the address.

The President’s address comes in the wake of heightened disagreements between the Executive and the Legislature.

In another development Parliament will hold a special sitting tomorrow to pay tribute to the late Deo Zabashaija who served in the National Resistance Council.

Kadaga urges all MPs to attend both the special sittings due to their importance.
