According to the Executive Secretary of the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) Dan Odongo, head teachers of different schools are expected to take their students through the regulations and cautions that have been spelt out by the board.

He notes that consequences of breaching of the regulations such as involvement in examination irregularities and malpractice must be clearly explained to all candidates.

Over 326,000 students are registered to sit for this year’s exams which start on Monday 16th October up to 20th of November.

50.7% of the candidates are male while 49.3% are female.
