Police in Kyengera is holding 4 suspects over allegations of human trafficking, and aggravated defilement.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga says this followed a complaint of disappearance that was reported by a one Edirisa Kawoya, after his 13-year old daughter, a senior one student, went missing on March 2nd 2021.

The victim was allegedly lured from their home by a bodaboda rider identified as Isaac Mulema, under the pretext of getting her a job.

He instead took her to one Joseph Matovu, who reportedly defiled her before moving her to his sister identified as Scovia Mbabazi to work as a house maid.

The victim was later recovered by police from the home of a one Julius Ogwang who had also defiled her.

The matter is still under investigation.
