70 witness, 30 to go for prosecution to present in 2010 bombing case

Prosecution has to present over thirty more witnesses in a case against thirteen men accused of participating in 11th July 2010 Kampala bombing.

This was revealed by the prosecution team led by Susan Okalany at the High Court in Kampala.

So far over 40 witnesses have testified including police officers, victims and FBI agents pinning some of the suspects.

The case which is before Justice Alfonse Owiny Dollo is also expected to resume todaywith witness number 44.

Thirteen suspects who include seven Kenyans, five Ugandans and one Tanzanian is accused of detonating bombs at Kyadondo Rugby ground and Ethiopian Restaurant Kabalagala which left at least 76 people dead and many injured.

They are said to have committed the offence on 11th July 2010.
