This follows her public outcry yesterday that ‘mafias’ were threatening her life over an audit into the UTL mismanagement claims which is under the administration of Bemanya Twebaze.

Renowned analyst Imam Idi Kasozi says Anite needs to resign because she cannot handle the said ‘mafias’ because they have allegedly become survivors of the state after accumulating a lot of wealth.

Relatedly the opposition Coalition Democratic Party bloc has has asked Minister Anite to join the opposition to fight the Mafias she says are after her life.

Anite who did not name the people plotting her death made it clear that they are known because they have been holding secret meeting in government offices and high-end social places in the city Centre.

Addressing the media at their weekly press conference yesterday DP President Norbert Mao said that if Anite is tired of corrupt government should join the opposition because crying will not solve any problem.

He also asked her to resign.

Anite  who is also the Koboko Municiplaity MP become prominent  when she knelt before President Museveni in 2014 to beg him to be the ruling NRM’s sole candidate for 2016 elections.
