The police have warned members of the general public against creation of mafia-like criminal gangs that are engaging in organized crimes across the country.

According to the Police Chief, Gen Kale Kayihura, there is a new group of criminals who are conniving with bank officials to follow up people who withdrawal huge sums of money from mainly three undisclosed banks that are under investigation.

He adds that similar trend have been identified in emerging gold trade, drug trafficking and most of victims are foreigners who come to the country for investment.
