Besigye is still addressing the press on what the opposition has dubbed the Red-ribbon campaign which aims at rallying the masses to oppose the amendment of Article 102(b), which seeks to remove the age limit for the president.

On Saturday Besigye asked Ugandans who drive to work to leave their cars at home once every week to stand with those who are opposed to the amendment.

Our reporter Damali Mukhaye is at Besigye’s home in Kasangati .

The police maintain they will not allow any such procession.
