Buses collide, over 29 dead

At least 29 people are feared dead in after a head on collusion between 2 buses at Pakagere which is 40 kms from the border of Nimule in South Sudan.

The buses included one belonging to Baby Coaches, registration number UAP 431M while the other was from Baluku Coaches, registration number UAN 258 Z.

23 of the decease are reported to be Ugandans, while 6 of them are Southern Sudanese.

The deputy police spokesperson Vincent Sekatte says, 75 others are critically injured and are receiving medical treatment at Nimule hospital.

Sekatte adds that the accident which occurred this morning resulted from over-speeding by the drivers of both buses.
