Caucusing has been cited as one of the factors hindering the better performance of ministers and MPs, in parliament.
This is according to political analyst Siraje Nsanja, who says this comes with the multiparty political system.
He says that members holding and guarding common party positions, silences individual MPs.
“Caucusing largely affects the individuals and the performance of individuals in parliament. The caucus position in most cases may not reflect the realities of the constituency,” he said.
