The General Court Martial sitting at Makindye has adjourned to Monday next week the hearing of a treachery case against the Nakawa Municipality MP Micheal Kabaziguruka.
This after the court announced the adjournment of today’s sessions in order to honor the burial of the fallen Maj. General Julius Oketta.
UPDF officers manning the court’s gate informed Kabaziguruka and other people who had come to attend court that no one is allowed to enter court premises as they mourn the fallen General and that normal business resumes on Monday 14th / November 2016.
The court’s chairman Lt Gen Andrew Gutti had set today to commence hearing of Kabaziguruka’s case in which the state alleges that he connived with 25 other people including serving UPDF officers to contrive a plot to overthrow the government of Uganda by the use of firearms.
