The Kiira Region deputy police Commander  Onesmus Mwesigwa  has denied reports that   he had received Shs 10 million refund  from two NRM bosses  who had got it as kick back from money state house offered for treatment of a cancer patient.

Mr Majid Dhikusooka the NRM Vice chairperson for Jinja district who allegedly collaborated with Solomon Baleke the NRM chairperson for Wankole sub-county  had allegedly got Shs20million as kick back from the Shs110million given to Brenda Gimbo to help in the operation of brain cancer from India.

The two after getting this money faced public criticism forcing the police to intervene with a view of compelling them to refund it on grounds that state house money can never bear kick back.

Mr Dhikusooka after being pressed hard by the office of the RDC in Jinja, he announced that he had delivered the refund of Shs10million to Deputy RPC Onesmus Mwesigwa.

However, Mwesigwa says he has never received any money from Dhikusooka.

He says Dhikusooka is pedaling lies against him.
