Karamagi was allegedly burnt at the home of renowned local artist Joseph Mayanja also known as Dr Jose Chameleon three years ago.

The DPP’s orders follow the storming of his office in Kampala by Maj. Benedicto Kyamanywa, the father of deceased, demanding to know why his son’s file was closed without apprehending the suspects, three years later.

But in his response, the DPP admitted that indeed the file was closed some time last year as there was no sufficient evidence to have it sanctioned in court.

The DPP however, was quick to blame his officers who handled the file but never called any of the family members of the deceased to explain to them why the file was being closed.

Karamagi’s death remains mysterious up to date but Daniella Mayanja, the wife to the singer, reportedly said that the deceased who had intruded at their residence; burnt himself in the process as he tried to burn her.
