The Electoral Commission has confirmed that the elections that were slated for tomorrow have been pushed to Friday.

Ssejusa lost his seat following recommendation from Parliament’s Rules and Privileges committee, after he absconded from duty for more than 15 sittings without notice to the Speaker.

The commission’s spokesperson, JothamTaremwa says the army made the request to allow the army council hold both its meeting and elections on Friday.
