The EU ambassador to Uganda Kristian Schmidt has challenged youths to be passionate about their dreams and work hard.
Speaking at the 4th annual National youth’s skills development Expo in kampala last evening, Schmidt said youths need to become entrepreneurs in order to drive the country’s economy.
He cites lack of startup funds, and experience among other challenges affecting youths efforts to become successful entrepreneurs across the world.
The ambassador asks government to take family planning seriously to control the growing population, reform the school curricula, and prioritize vocational training.
The Expo organized by the youth advocacy foundation Uganda was running under the theme” role of youth in the sustainable development goals.”
