Video footage shows Gen.Wamala throwing punches at Francis Zaake, the Member of Parliament for Mityana, who was flexing with plain clothed security operatives in the chamber.

Zaake has since been admitted at Rubaga Hospital where is receiving treatment for injuries he sustained.

Addressing journalists at the FDC headquarters, the party’s deputy spokesperson Paul Mwiru says Gen Wamala should apologize for inflicting such serious injuries to the legislator.

Meanwhile, Gen Wamala has denied raining punches on Zaake.
