The search for a new party president for the opposition Forum for Democratic Change is on.

According to the party’s Deputy Secretary General Harold Kaija, the term of the current president Gen Mugisha Muntu expires on November 22nd.

He reveals that the registration and picking of nomination forms will kick off from 10th July to August 12th ahead of campaigns that kick of August 17th and elections slated for November 2nd.

Kaija says the party is now calling on eligible candidates to express interest and prepare to pick forms in July.

Meanwhile speaking to KFM, Gen. Muntu does not rule out the possibility of seeking a second term, but quickly adds that he will officially announce his position.
