Addressing journalists at the party headquarters in Najjanakumbi, the deputy spokesperson Paul Mwiru says that in the past by-election in Aruu, they witnessed late delivery of electoral materials, denial of accountability of ballot papers, denial of access to the tally center and arrest of opposition supporters.

He notes that perpetuating such malpractice by EC undermines democracy and rule of law hence thwarting possibilities of free and fair election.

He says the EC should desist from the above practices to have a fair and free elections in the upcoming by-election in kamuli on Wednesday this week and in Kagoma on 11th May.

He however notes that they are ready for the kamuli by-election as all the he party leaders are there for the final campaigns.
