After failing to agree on a joint presidential candidate under The Democratic Alliance, some of the presidential aspirants have now embarked on individual campaigns.
Former Vice President Prof Gilbert Bukenya who was one of the contenders for the TDA flag for 2016 says he will tomorrow start collecting signatures from the districts of Masaka, Lwengo, Ssembabule and Rakai.
Bukenya who heads the Pressure for National Unity group says his next destination will be Kampala before heading to the Eastern districts and Karamoja sub region.
Yesterday the Democratic Alliance Summit failed to reach a consensus on a Joint Presidential Candidate between Amama Mbabazi and Dr Kiiza Besigye.
This prompted the members of the Alliance to take different paths regarding the issue of a presidential candidate.
