The Kabaka of Buganda today starts his three-day visit to Bugerere County in Kayunga district.

The Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II’s visit is aimed at stirring reconciliation of the different tribes in the county.

The Kingdom’s information minister Denis Walusimbi says the Kabaka will perform different activities including immunizing children, tree planting, commissioning of schools and churches among others.

He has called for peace among all the Kabaka’s subjects who intend to travel going to Bugerere.

 Meawhile the police are deployed heavily in and around Bugerere as the Kabaka starts his visit of the county in Kayunga district.

The head of police operations Grace Turyagumanawe says there is adequate deployment of officers both in uniform and plain clothes.

He says they have also set up mobile prisons to arrest petty criminals during the event.

He has also called on the public to remain vigilant as the county is still under serious terror threats.
