Addressing District Police commanders and Officers in Charge of WamalaRegion, Ochola said stooping this practice will change the status of police.

Meanwhile the police spokesperson Emilian Kayima insists all those found guilty of torturing suspects will be charged individually and prosecuted.

Kayima meanwhile police is committed to improving the welfare of all police officers and promoting them to higher ranks so that they can get more money.

Kayima however says promoting is based on someone’s performance arguing that is the reason the junior officers are promoted as the elder ones look on.
