The executive of the Uganda Judicial Officers Association meets today to discuss a letter from government regarding their ongoing strike.
This is after government appealed to the judicial officers to call off their strike and resume work as it addresses their concerns.
Addressing journalists yesterday the Justice and Constitutional Affairs Minister Gen Kahinda Otafire said the government was committed to addressing the concerns raised by the judicial officers in a gradual process, calling for their patience.
Now the association chairman Godfrey Kaweesa says the executive will be meeting to discuss the latest position before the General Assembly to be held tomorrow Wednesday where a final decision on whether or not to suspend the strike shall be taken.
