President Paul Kagame of Rwanda has sacked Ambassador Olivier Nduhungirehe from cabinet.
Kagame accuses the minister of “consistently acting based on personal opinions over government policies.”
He has been the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in charge of East African Community.
Until his removal, Ambassador Nduhungirehe has been at the forefront of delivering Rwanda’s demands to Uganda on the unresolved closure of Katuna border point.
The Ambassador’s sacking was announced by Prime Minister Dr Edouard Ngirente last night.
