Famous Kampala city green cabs have been sued before the High court over causing an accident  which left a boda -boda cyclist with one leg.

William Kiwanuka says on the 1st/December /2016 he was riding his Bajaj boxer  along Gaba road when  he was knocked down by one of the green cabs and left his right leg shuttered and thus
amputated.

Kiwanuka who doesn’t state the specific registration  number  of the cab now demands close to 170 million shillings from Friendiship Taxi (U) Ltd , a company that runs a fleet of these taxis as compensation for his lost leg and destroyed mortocycle which he holds liable to the reckless driver of the cab.

Court is yet to summon Friendship Taxi Ltd for a reply.
