The resident city Commissioner Kampala District Deborah Mbabazi has called upon Kampala capital city authority leaders to rethink their decision of suspending the budget process because the government cut their budget.

The leadership of KCCA yesterday  suspended the budget process pending appearance of the minister for Kampala Betty Kamya to explain why the government cut the authority’s budget from 563 billion to Sh314 billion.

Now speaking to KFM, Mbabazi said that the leaders should always understand the constraints government is facing and concentrate on sensitizing communities to raise more revenue for the government.

She explained that the leaders made decision basing on partism and attacked each other forgetting that what they did is so suicidal hence they should rethink their decision.
