It is said that lightening does not strike the same place twice, but this is not true with flash floods that hit Kasese district last week, exactly one year after the first disaster.

According to the area member of parliament Winnie Kiiza, clean water supply has been disrupted due to lack of electricity and most power lines were broken by strong winds.

She tells KFM that by yesterday, the machines that were being used to remove silt from the rivers had broken down, asking government to respond with urgency.
