Kayunga District Chairperson Feffekka Sserubogo has reportedly committed suicide.

The lifeless body of the newly elected leader was this morning found hanging behind his house in Kayunga town.

According to Spark TV’s Dennis Mukisa, the body was discovered by family members who were going to weed pineapples.

Police have arrived at the deceased’s home and they say investigations into the cause of death have commenced.

The deceased’s wife says he returned home feeling unwell and took his high blood pressure medicines before sleeping.

Feffekka Sserubogo was also a Bugerere country representative in the Buganda lukiiko.
