The Kampala Capital City Authority has started installing the modern security lights on the roads within Kampala.
Speaking during the tour on the progress of the road construction in Kampala, the executive Director of Kampala capital city authority Jenipher Musisi says after completion of the roads that include fairway junction, Kiira-Kabira road, Makerere hill road and Bwaise Mambule, Traffic Officers will not be needed to regulate the traffic flow.
She notes that the modern traffic lights whose installations have started are electronic and have sensors that control traffic automatically.
She however cautioned Ugandans to follow and abide by instructions by Tue traffic lights to reduce on jam and enable normal traffic floor.
