Anywar was yesterday involved in a road accident at Kangole Primary school in Paloga Sub county Lamwo district after the Land Cruiser registration UAY 354G she was travelling in veered off the road before overturning.

She was on her way to attend the burial of a relative in Kitgum district.

Anywar and her driver only identified as Mr Asuman were later rushed to Kitgum Government Hospital for emergency treatment by police.

A medical personnel at the facility who spoke on condition of anonymity said x-ray scan carried out on Anywar and her driver shows they did not sustain fractured bones.

According to Lamwo District Police Commander Eria Elopot, preliminary findings indicate the driver lost control while over speeding.
