Actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson have been diagnosed with coronavirus.
Tom Hanks, revealed on his Instagram page that, together with his wife, he felt a bit tired and so asked to be tested for the virus which turned out positive.
“We felt a bit tired like we had colds and some body aches,” he wrote on his official Instagram page.
Tom Hanks adds that his wife Rita had slight fevers which forced them to carry out the test.
“Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus and were found to be positive,” he says.
He adds that medical officials have quarantined them and given them protocols that must be followed.
“We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no?” he posted.
