However, Emillian Kayima, the police spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan says 30 year old Andrew William Luwandagga has been arrested by members of the community and handed over to the police on suspicion that he killed his father in a domestic brawl.

“One of his own children, called Andrew William 30 Years old, was arrested by the community and handed over him to the police suspecting that he could have had a hand in his father’s death and we could not take that lightly,” Mr Kayima said.

He tells KFM that they have taken statements from the four family members who were in the house at the time of Luwandagga’s death.

“We have gone ahead to record statements from family members, the window, Sarah Luwandagga and the two children, “noted Kayima.

Kayima says William will remain in police custody until a postmortem report is released.
