This comes after several students especially from the college of Education and External studies demanded an addendum graduation list while others have petitioned the inspectorate of government over missing names in the final graduation booklet.

However speaking to KFM, the Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Academic Affairs says graduation is a process adding it is completely out of order to start reading names that are not in the graduation book.

He has meanwhile revealed that he is aware of 24 students from the school of Education whose results were submitted a week after the senate committee which approves awards sat.

Kakumba has sympathized with affected students saying it was not the intention of the University to exclude them from graduating adding that they will receive their transcripts and certificates once senate approves their awards.
