Hundreds of Makerere University Students are on strike again.

This time, over internship money.

The students claim that they are supposed to receive Shs380,000 shillings each to facilitate their internship but this has not been done yet.

They add that the university says the money has been reinvested, which could not be independently verified as the university administration offices are closed.

Efforts to reach the Vice Chancellor on phone have so far been fruitless.
