Makererere university suspends abroad travel of lecturers.

Makerere University has suspended internal and external travel of all their staff members following a directive from the ministry of education.

The education minister Janet Museveni issued a directive to the effect that Travel inland and abroad on behalf of the University shall be suspended following the closure of the university by the president.

Meanwhile,  Dumba insisted that all staff members must bring back all the university vehicles by close of business today

Although he had earlier directed all Staff members with university vehicles to return the vehicles by Monday Prof Ddumba says some lecturers had asked for more time upto today since they were still upcountry.
