Police and Residents at Kalisizo are hunting for a heartless man for inflicting deep cuts on her fiancé for alleged infidelity.

Mulyowa Paul a resident of Kalisizo, Kalisizo Town council in Rakai district is wanted for hacking his woman friend AngellaNakavuma for reportedly being in love with another man.

Preliminary police investigations indicates that Nakavuma a bar attendant at Kanala zone, in Kalisizo town council in Rakai district   had visited Mulyowa.

Locals claim that they were attracted by Nakavuma crying for help after Mulyowa had hacked her and locked up her in the roam.

They says that Mulypowa first had bitter quarrel with Nakavuma before inflicting deep cuts on her accusing her of seeing another man.

Noah Sserunjogi the southern Region Police Spokesperson has confirmed the incident saying that Mulyowa inflicted deep cuts on Nakavuma’s head and neck.

He says that Police with the help of residents have mounted a hunt for Mulyowa since he disappeared shortly after making the offence.

He says Nakavuma has been rushed to Kalisizo hospital for treatment as investigations into the matter goes on.

He says that Mulyowa is likely to be charged with attempted murder if police investigations are completed.
