It was received by deputy speaker Jacob Olounya , NRM chief Whip Justine Lumumba and Agriculture state minister Bright Rwamirama.

Members of Parliament and the public will be viewing the body before a special session is held in honor of the late.

Matovu, a former member of the ICT committee succumbed to throat cancer at Nakasero hospital yesterday.

At 2.30 pm, a special sitting to honor the late Matovu will be held before the body is taken to the deceased’s residence in Bunga, a Kampala suburb for a night vigil.

Tomorrow, the body will be taken to Isingiro where it will lie in state at the district headquarters.

And on Thursday, Matovu’s body will be laid to rest at his home in Ngarama at 2:00pm.
