Four youths from the Central region have given a 5 days ultimatum to their MP Sarah Babirye  Kityo to vacate her office saying she is beyond the mandatory age limit of 30 years.

The youths led by Hakim Mutesasira have already served the office of the Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga with a letter intending to institute legal proceedings before court if Babirye does not leave her office by Friday this week.

Through their lawyers of United Advocates, the youths contend that they evidence in form of a marriage certificate proving that Babirye got married to a one Isaac Mukasa at Nakaseke Luwero in 2006 at the age of 25 and that ten years from then, she cannot be 30 years at the time of her nomination in 2016.

They now want her to admit that she is over 35 years and unfit to be a youth MP since the law limits the youth’s age to be 30 years.
